Cruise Automation company prospects?

For those who work at Cruise or anyone familiar with this company, would you recommend working here? How’s compensation range compared to other tech?

Do not go. Cruise is a toxic waste pit. There are a couple of articles that recently went out written by the two leaders on eng. It depicts a company that is NOT cruise. Additionally, they're blowing through money and way behind than the company has said. I'd really be surprised if they stick around for 2 more years. The company doesn't care about employees and it shows in everything they do from performance management to even hiring good leaders. For instance I was there for 4 months. In my 4 months I had 10 re-orgs, 4 managers, caught leaders in lies and worked with some of the most incompetent people I've ever come across. I started looking for a new job 3 weeks in. Ultimately, I left and want to erase that shit show from my brain.

I had a slightly better time than you, but largely agree with this. I found Cruise to be a wholly unpleasant place to work and would strongly recommend avoiding it.

I 100% agree. It was the worst place I’ve ever worked at. The dysfunction is mind-blowing.

Extremely against working at Cruise. One of the most dysfunctional companies I’ve ever worked at. Inexperienced management and leadership team, no resources for training. Awful.

When your marketing team has to write 20 fake glassdoor reviews (back to back, on the same date) to try to make the place look better, you know it's a crap shoot. Lol
