Interested in SWE roles at Cruise. Wondering what to expect in terms of their RSU vesting schedule. 1. Is there a one year cliff? 2. Does the RSU grant vest uniformly on a monthly basis? 3. What is the vesting period? (4 years?) TC 260k, 4 yoe
1 year cliff then vest quarterly after that. Stocks are double trigger as per my understanding. One is time (so the vesting schedule) and the other is a liquidation event, so aka an ipo. So you don’t actually vest any shares until you’ve satisfied the time requirement and Cruise ipos or is acquired (unlikely since GM already owns us), etc. someone from Cruise please correct me if I’m wrong
If you have been at Cruise for less than 1 year and it IPO’s do you end up with zero shares?

The one year cliff in this context means that the employee won't vest any RSUs if they were to quit before their one year anniversary
