Anyone working at Cruise knows why the company hasn't re-valuated in almost 2 years? I worked there a few years back and my vested shares still haven't re-valuated in almost 2 years. Wondering if it has anything to do with Dan getting let go. Also, will Cruise ever offer to buy back RSUs? TC: 220k YOE: 6 HWE
I’m pretty sure the stock was revalued when Microsoft/Walmart invested a year ago. In general the company has only revalued when there are investments.
Mind if I reach out for a referral?
Cruise just announced a pretty neat buyback program: https://www.getcruise.com/news/a-new-kind-of-equity-program/
More details on this here https://www.getcruise.com/news/a-new-kind-of-equity-program. It's a great move by Cruise. With this program, essentially anyone can sell any amount of vested stocks once a quarter.. there is no limit. And this is a recurring program, which means you can sell once every quarter, if you want . The fair market value of the stock is decided by an independent company and Cruise is putting a very generous lower bound on it
So even if there isn't an IPO anytime soon, employees can still sell their stocks like any other Public company
Does anybody have contact information for the buyback program? I would love to sell my Cruise RSU.
What was the valuation when you left? I hear the current offers are issued in the ballpark of 30B valuation.
