This is what we need, OP. TC at the main Tokyo office is truly horrible if you're not an engineer (and maybe even if you are) - starting pay for a fresh grad is 3 6M yen or about $33k.
Search for “asakai” on their Glassdoor reviews. That’ll help give you an idea whether you’ll like it or not.
Specifically, search for the series of reviews containing the phrase "black hole for your career". There are five or six and they give the naked truth. Another entitled "wearing the mask or internationalization" is similarly good.
