  • With 15 YOE you should be looking at senior E5/6 roles. While Leetcode is still part of the cost of entry even at these levels, your interview will have to demonstrate that you can design complex systems at scale and have the emotional intelligence of a leader.

You should have demonstrable experience with leading, solving and delivering large features on your own, preferably with cross discipline team interactions. You have to be able to speak to these deliveries with authority and ownership. If you're still an individual contributor after 15 years with no lead experience, I'm afraid no FAANG will consider you as a serious candidate.

This is my way of saying you probably need a banging resume that shows progression through the ranks over the years so you can get a screening call before you can actually sell yourself.

Leetcode might be one way, but I must say I am not very good at Leetcode, and so far I've made it to Amazon and now I'm at FB.

You can be really good at certain specialities, like frontend dev, hardware, etc. and still get hired without being good at leetcode.
