Planing to move from India to Seattle. My kid got diagnosed with asd recently. (3 years).
Can anyone tell me how long it would take to get a doctors referral for ABA in Seattle? Are there waitlists?
Also can you suggest some good hospitals/ABA clinics and where to stay for a family of 3.
Iโve never been to US and have no idea how healthcare works. Any suggestions appreciated.

Please check out Boyer Children's Clinic for PT, OT, ST.
We have not got into ABA yet, but for you have to research different options and see if your insurance covers them. If you find a good therapist, you may pay as little as $20 copay per session.
If you donโt have Aetna, please look into UW Autism Center. They have class-based ABA. Heard itโs pretty good.
Three year old would also qualify for neurodevelopment preschool. Itโs fully funded by the government, itโs like school, but for kids with Autism ages 3 to 5. When your child turns 5, they give your recommendation for the kindergarten based on your developmental progress.
