Currently I am working at a startup, previously I was at Spotify and Dell EMC. I am a Product Manager with 3.5 years of Product experience and 4.5 years of engineering experience. I have learnt a lot at the startup I am in, so much hands on experience from product management to product marketing. Making incisive decisions everyday. I have stressed a lot on learning this new discipline by doing Stanford certification to doing other PM courses, sharpening my concepts and understanding and applying it everyday. I genuinely love my current company and work, I am making million dollar decisions every but they don’t pay well. Also my manager is amazing with 20 years of product experience. I made 35k more at Spotify and had to move for family reasons, and I made a lot in stocks.
* What are my chances at Google / Facebook?
* Does Google only prefer PMs with MBAs? I want to really work in Google.
* Also top on my list of Facebook. I have a referral here, what are my chances of getting a call ?
* Given my domain expertise is Data Engineering, which other company would you recommend? I care about TC and quality of work.

Instead I have an ok school undergrad and experience in pming at a f100 and growth startup haha.
All it takes is a resume bite then its how you perform during the interviews not your past experience or school
I also have ok school undergrad and grad school. The Stanford thing, I mentioned is a certification not an actual degree.
Re. Engineering experience, if anything I see it disadvantageous in many ways. I love the fact I have technical knowledge, I also wonder what if the same time was spent doing product.
