  • Total BS. Never gonna happen. Why would a robot even care about killin humen. I would only be concerned with this technology in the hands of the wrong side.. aka. ISIS and shit like that

      There's already about one robot induced fatality per year in the US, and these are for robots that are designed to operate as safely as possible, in a confined environment with automatic shutdown if the cage in which it operates is opened. Add in military hardware that's designed to kill and the possibility of software bugs. And even with tons of scrutiny, complex systems like rockets explode due to dumb mistakes like metric conversion or floating to integer conversion.

  • Elon isn't really the kind of person that makes bogus off the cuff statements.

    Maybe there is something to what he's saying.

    Also, considering who he is, he may know a thing or two that the average person does not.
