Yep, I was surprised too, recruiter is asking me to negotiate but not sure where to start on this low ball

This is god level lowball. My company is no fb but it pays atleast around these nos for staff engg. FRL is notorious for big time lowballs

Just got e6 offer and my numbers are very different also in hardware 235k/600k/20% also sign on

Ask for 100K, if they ask why say you did research, dont be afraid to say you checked levels fyi, even if you dont have competing offers this will boost the offer at least 50K. Also ask for sign in bonus, i know E6 who have gotten 100K for sign in.
Get competing offers
It’s difficult to find competing offers in HW wireless since it’s very niche.
Yeah that’s a pity. I’d think with an apple offer in hand that TC could go up a lot.
Are you sure you got E6 and not E5? Your offer is the typical E5 offer for HW.
Wtf is that TC? 218k base 425k over 4 years? So really TC is ~325k? Seems quite low for E6?
