Hello I was reached out by recruiter for Tech sales at Gartner specifically for The account executive role. I wanted to learn more about I am currently working in tech consulting and wanted to maybe transfer to sales and wanted to see if I should. Anyone currently in this role or have an tips or advice?
Or know total comp I was told on call it’s 103k 69k base.

  • Generally would not recommend Gartner unless you needed a job. Also is it entry level? That seems pretty low total compensation.

    DM me if you need more info. Good and bad but all depends on the division you are in and the management you are under. Tough product to sell and stressful sales environment but insane learning opportunities

    The compensation there for a role I interviewed for was $200k but the vibes were not good. Like, I didn’t like the interviewer and the company culture seemed toxic
