Offer decision help: Amazon / Meta / Uber
Hi all,
I have received following offers and would appreciate your feedback on which company seems best to choose from
Amazon. L6. 505 TC/ year for 4 year. 580k TC / year for 4 year if you consider 15% stock growth else Amazon gives more stocks.
Pros: Really like the team. I have a feeling that it should be easier for me to become an EM there.
Cons: Not my highest offer and benefits are not great either. Based on the comp structure, doesn’t look like comp would increase with Top Tier / Exceeds ratings. Growth to Principal looks very slow and growing into SDM doesn’t look like it would increase the comp either.
Meta. E5. Standard max offer for Seattle. 415k per year for 4 years. 465k with 140k per year refreshers.
Pros: Brand name and great benefits. Can grow to E6 in 2 years with hard work so comp can increase after two years. Strong bonus and stock multipliers can increase the comp. Remote offer. Meta is also loaded with money so less risk of layoffs.
Cons: Sounds like a constant work pressure environment. Interview experience was not great as I don't believe in 2 questions in 40 minutes. Sounds like constant rat race from what I have heard on Blind.
Uber. L5B. 540k TC/ year for 4 years. 600k TC with 140k TC stock refreshers. The stock refreshers could even be higher but no official number mentioned by the team.
Pros: Higher level than other offers so it would be a great opportunity to learn and grow. Stock is undervalued, so stock can double in a couple of years.
Cons: Stability of the company. High turnover. No clarity on stock refreshers so not sure how year 3 and 4 compensation would look like.
Location: Seattle
YOE: 8-10 years
My priorities
TC > Growth > WLB > Culture > Benefits
I am making it a poll but I would appreciate it if you can also provide reasons in comment.

I wouldn't trust the recruiter on this. It's more likely for your TC to move towards the median there which is a lot less than 500K. (Was at Amazon a few years back)
VP approval is for extending an offer, no one is gonna get approvals every review cycle for you. Once you join, you are a fungible L6, why would they keep you outside the band - even with a TT rating, your target TC would likely drift around low 400s. VP approval for your offer already means you are way over L6 top of the band.
FWIW I was an IC there and it's all from my impression of how the system worked, maybe some Amazon HMs could chime in.
