Hi folks - wondering what the refresher story is like with Tableau.

Just accepted an offer with 300k worth of equity over 4 years and am wondering if my TC would lose that 75k after year 4 in the LMTS role.

TC: 362k YOE:11

As an LMTS who has been here for over 2.5 years I suggest you go to google. My RSUs were also $300k. I got refreshers both the years but they were $60k both times. I was promised a promo but didn’t happen. My comp will drop significantly mid next year. Planning my next move too

  I am a top performer on my team, but the refreshers has not been worthy. At LMTS, I get around 80-90k worth if it. And the stock tanks 20%

  Refreshers are not for everyone. Some people get them. Don’t count on it.

Refresh is rare, unless you are very good. Your best bet to avoid the drop off is to get promoted during those years

Have a google offer for the same TC as a Senior SDE - refreshers might play a big part if I decide to back out of this offer… trying to decide

  Only top 15-20% of the LMTs band get refreshers and that too not before year 2 , usually year 3
  So refreshers suck tldr
