Can someone list pros and cons of them?
Ds research is more research oriented? I am invited to onsite not sure what to expect..
My bg is phd in computer science but I didnt do any research after graduation. Phone interview was about general ds questions.

Research gets paid 80-100% of swe, analytics ~70% but analytics is generally considered alot easier
