… quite far from it.
Amazon doesn’t -
1. Have bad talent
2. Threaten former and current employees
3. Fake Glassdoor reviews
4. Do PR stunts
5. Promote bad talent
6. Underpay (by a wide margin)
7. Isn’t a cult
8. Have a bad product (they’re great in fact - prime, aws, WF)
9. Hire idiots
10. Disrespect customers
In fact I think it’s a great employer. I have worked at companies that have all or some of the listed points and amazon stories here on blind aren’t even close to what most folks in those companies have experienced.
P.S: I never have and most likely won’t work at amazon (as an IC) - but I have great respect towards it. It’s better than any other seattle based companies any day!
Now you may go back to enjoying or fucking up your weekend. Cheers! 🍻

Not even going to other points
Because people who get managed out for performance reasons and post about in blind always think it's some management conspiracy rather than the result of their own shortcomings. Blind is a support group for these people
You probably never worked at other well known non-fang companies
Jk. Chill bruh 😎
