Hi All,

I received a offer from EY and JP.

JP: 105K as senior associate in Analytics in consumer banking area

EY: 115K senior consultant in automation

Current pay as Consultant: 75K base
YOE: 3.5

Should I go with with industry or continue Consulting?

JP: no bonus ever or no bonus first year? If only not the first year, I’d take JP

  • I’d personally opt for EY - comp is similar, but you’ll get a more diverse set of experience in consulting vs finance. Of course other factors at play are WLB and the specific teams, but based on the info above I’d lean EY. Also used to work there and had a pretty solid experience

  • Speaking for Finance Org at JP. It has a great WLB. Executives are committed in employees development.

JP might not match 401k right from 1st year and the vesting period is 3 years.

JP does offer pension (was the case when I joined) - do check with the HR.

Hardly any bonus. Promotion criteria varies from team to team.

Did JP or EY offered you sign-on bonus?

    Congrats!
