You don't want to work at Indeed. For machine learning we're involved in automating the interviewing process, which means we automatically declined candidates based on certain characteristics. It's only a matter of time before that gets us into a lawsuit.
Indeed has data scientist product opening for my years of experience which is Product analyst non-programming and non-research role. The problem you shared above, I would like to work on those type. Will DM my resume, Can you help refer for my right fit role?
Product analyst isn't really much of a machine learning role, it's moreso crunching numbers that we gather. The only thing Indeed really focuses on is monitoring tweaks to see if they increase job applications or paid job postings. It might be interesting for a few months but it will get boring very fast. There isn't enough data to infer interesting insights because we don't offer enough value to capture more information about the entire job seeking experience like LinkedIn can. People only come to Indeed only to search for jobs and will apply to the company directly most of the time because Indeed doesn't offer much value besides finding a job listing. It's the only value Indeed has ever provided and every attempt by leadership to do something else has failed. Because of this only an insignificant amount of users create an Indeed account and provide information about themselves.
