Data visualization engineer @ Netflix
What kind of interview questions are asked for this role? Any insights on the work and job responsibilities for this role would be highly appreciated. I am a Data Analyst @ Amazon
I applied for this several years ago, so it may have changed. Got through several rounds of interviews where they asked general analytics questions, what kind of chart to use in what scenario, etc. In the final on-site interview, they asked several heavy JavaScript questions and I bombed. I did not realize JavaScript would be a majority of the work for the role, as it didn’t really come up in the initial rounds of phone interviews. So make sure you know your JS!
I don't know JS at all. In that case, I have to be upfront about it. Also it is not mentioned in the job description
Dont bother if you don't know java script as it is the basic requirement.
Why can't Netflix mention such a basic thing?
