I am L64 at Microsoft. I have an interview with databricks. What kind of questions are asked? What is the difficultly level? Comparable to FB/Google?
Lol wow how’s streamsets doing??
We are good. Very comfortable place to work
We never ask you anything about Spark or Scala (or any programming language specific) questions in our interviews. Just fundamentals (algorithms, system design).
What if someome is not super experienced with production/online systems? Deal breaker? Cuz there are other systems out there, like embedded systems, or high performance computing, OS, compilers, etc. How does databricks treat/evaluate those kinds of candidates?
We have engineers that come from those (compiler, OS, FPGA) background too.
1 managerial 2 coding and 1 sys design for onsite - questions are not that hard, but the coding standard is pretty high.
managerial for engineer role?
managerial = You talk with a manager and he asks you questions
What about the phone interview? Is it Leetcode easy/medium?
Hey!! Can anybody help me with the databricks' unique debug round? Just want to know that what are the pre-requisites to do well in that round.
Any update from OP?
Any tips for SA interview?
What is Demo Excellence engineer in Databricks. Is that tech role. I applied for Cloud Infrastructure architect but they feel i am better fit for DEE. Please advise if this tech role or what exactly this is?

ByteDance is officially fucked
Brush up your Spark skills, that would be good enough
I have no knowledge of spark. I have worked only on c#
They why even interviewing there? Do you know Scala? It's not the right place for .net/c# guy
