I passed the senior SWE loop for both. Where should I go?
Datadog (in team matching, but recruiter gave estimates and said there is flexibility):
~$225/125/40 base/RSU/sign-on = ~$360k/year
Upstart ("final" offer):
~$200/100/30 base/RSU/perf bonus = ~$330k/year
I wouldn't be too surprised if I could get Upstart to match Datadog, but I suppose I'll make another poll if/when we get those updated offers. I guess just vote for now based on the preliminary numbers above but please add any additional thoughts you might have. Thanks!
YoE: 8+
TC: ~$190k

Though you could use that to your advantage if your interview went well. Ask for 250 or 300 if the recruiter think 225 is mid band
Obviously Updog is the perfect choice
