May be, because they don’t care about bloated total users count...

Ding ding ding. Last paragraph of section 3 https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/member-behaviour-policies/user-agreement?id=4259 “We may cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been inactive for a long time or modify or discontinue our Services. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse or terminate all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason at our discretion.”

Ebay will not do it. Account might be restricted or suspended. Pm me if you need help

Pretty sure we do delete inactive accounts or at least used to do that.

eBay charged me $30 for a listing that didn’t even sell. I said to myself “well never again Joe, never again” talk about a dead on the vine marketplace.

You can tell them and they will reverse the charge.

No they won’t, it’s how they make money now. They charge you for empty unsold listings. It’s the last time I’ll ever sell anything on EBay. It’ll die soon enough.
