Dell Salary negotiate. Can i do more ?
Offered for Dell EMC . Base 175k RSU 60k over 3 year Bonus 8% Sign on bonus 10k I8 - Principal Cloud Role What is the maximum we can go for I8 Principal And if we get promoted to I9 senior principal after a year how much salary will increase ?

I have no idea as I have seen wild numbers as well as poor. It depends on org and I'm a new grad in 2019. But signon was like 10k. Dell underpays a lot so don't expect raises when you're here. Just negotiate before joining and if they don't budge either you were on top of the band or you lookup elsewhere. If you join top of the band, you won't get raises more than 2% or min until you get a promo. So pretty useless tbh.
I think this good pretty much. Dell pays only this much. Although, I do think the bonus % should be 10-12% for I8. And of you want you can try to ask for an increase on signon. Or 180k ish base.

Yes at i8, i think it is better to be at i8 because when you promote to i9 you will get a major difference in salary. HR said company is also planning to do 10 to 12% bonus at Prinicpal level.
I’d say it’s low given your YOE and position. Bonus percentage is what they pay company-wide for I8 tho. It’s 15% for I9 and keeps going up. Ask for more RSUs for sure, companies are paying way more than that.
i tried thats the one they offered. Right now Stocks is fallen alot defintely it is going to double. I will be happy if they given more. As of now i am happy with the package, i am getting 115k which is very less comparing to what dell offered.
You're at the very high end for i9 in terms of salary, highly doubt you will get much increase when promoted. Your bonus will go to 15% though. Refreshers only to top few performers.
You mean i am at very end of I8 ? May be I would say with i9 base pay can go more than 250k plus thats what i am seeing in other posts. Lets say after 18 months got promoted to i9. I would see lot of pay difference. Being in i8 you wont get much hike since i am in high end of i8 close to i9.
