Hi all, I interviewed at Deloitte GPS a week ago, and they came back saying the feedbacks were positive. However, the recruiter mention something about no being able to extend an offer at the moment and told me to wait patiently. Could anyone at Deloitte provide some insights on this matter? I heard from a friend that Deloitte is laying off lots of people and GPS don't have money to staff their consultants...is it really that bad? If that's the case, should I consider join at all? Thanks in advance. Yoe:2.5 Tc:100+
Don't come to D now. It's a shit show
They have definitely laid off a bunch of people in the last few weeks. I know some people from GPS who have lost their jobs. Agree with Ceeker, seems to be a really negative environment.
That sounds really bad....now I have to rethink if it's really worth it to join...but my current company isn't doing that great either
Same thing happened to me. Had a great interview and got a positive feedback after the interview. They just told me to wait. (GPS)
I got a call this week and they want me to interview again smh...
Well thats something. I haven’t heard back, just waiting...

I don't know about delloite, but I'm general if they do a mass layoff then they avoid hiring that same quarter, lest the folks layed off sue them.
I am not sure why the layoff happened. But I know they are hiring, which feels weird to me. Why posting all the job openings when you don't have the budget for it...
