Moving to Denver soon. Was curious on the best area to live in as a 25yo single male. I’ll be working downtown and would prefer to be able to walk or ride a bike to work. I want to be in a safer area. I also would like to live in a lively area where there are also younger people. I’ve heard LoDo and Capitol Hill are nice. What about RiNo and Highlands? Looking for a 1x1. My budget is 1800 at the most for rent.
They have a great transit system, so you may be able to expand your search. Friends tried moving out there last year, but everywhere had a 2 year waitlist. They had to live in CO Springs until they could get a showing in Denver
Highlands or Jefferson Park I’d say. Lodo is definitely good for 25 but a lot of homeless and can be very loud with partying. Highlands is about a 10 minute walk to deloitte and considered one of the nicest areas, pm me if you want
+1 to LoHi/Jefferson Park. Easy access to downtown, lots of good food/breweries
Capitol Hill all the way.
Im in Lakewood - easy lightrail ride into downtown
Cherry Creek is fantastic. But not walkable to DT.
