I’m an iOS developer and am thinking of moving to Denver. Is there a big tech scene there? If I leetcode like crazy can I keep a job?
Also leet code matters much less here thank god.
I like this
Last I heard Oracle was there? It’s not exactly FANG but you could do worse. Yeah leetcode and all the best! PS: if you are just an iOS developer I would say learn a new language, I have doubts about iOS future considering the advances apple has made With T chips and the moment they can have acceptable perf for macOS and first party apps on ARM, iOS market share will diminish significantly.
Let me know if you are interested in doing generalist SWEngineering. I have an opening in Denver.
Just to clarify we have iOS, Android, among many other things that need to be built and maintained.
I’m really just interested in iOS since that’s my passion.
If you're looking for housing I got a 5 br 3 batch ranch for sale 40 minutes north of denver for 370k. Hit me up lol

Tech salaries are decent here. Nothing to go crazy over like the west coast. Cost of living is pretty high, comparable to Seattle maybe a couple years back, but without pay rate keeping pace. Can be lucrative if you are willing to commute. The price of a house a half hour ot 45 minutes out is night and day compared to in denver and boulder directly.
What’s some good family friendly areas to commute from? I have an on-site in 3 weeks and want to check out the areas
In Denver or Boulder?
