Describe your lifestyle

With all the high TC I see around here, I never really see many people talking about their lifestyle; so let’s have at it. State your TC and then put what kind of places you eat at, what kind of clothes you wear, and other things like vacations (and average spend) as well as car. Example for me TC 200k YoE 4 Clothing: Designer (Gucci, Moncler, Off-White) Car: Toyota Venza Food: Fine dining frequently Vacations: Not overly extravagant. Stay in cheap hotels since I’m young and single.

250k plus paper money. works out with a personal trainer twice a week. otherwise pretty frugal/boring. cheap clothes, no car, don’t like to travel, care more about nutrition than fancy cuisine when I eat.

How do you commute to work?

Airbnb murat May 28, 2019

I walk to work unless it’s raining.

250k, no car, cheap apartment, fine dining for dates once a week, most of my money goes forwards funding local performing arts. (50k+/year) But I like a nice hotel and business class flights from time to time

220k. 2 bedroom apt, no roommate. Drive a bland economy car. Eat out more often than not, probably spend 500 a month on food. Clothing budget is a few hundred dollars per year.

The dick measuring contests here just keep getting more petty and I love it

$300k, live cheap with roommates. Have $4500 car that I'm getting rid of. Mostly wear cheap asos/zara/massimo dutti type stuff. Only ever buy food on weekends and it's usually from holes in the wall. Go on vacations pretty much wherever/whenever I want, but in a year it's not that much money. Have friends and relationships that matter. Will be conservatively financially independent at <30 and will be able to do whatever I want with the rest of my life with the freedom to tell anyone to go fuck themself if I don't want to do what they say. Lifestyle inflation is provably a stupid decision. There are studies on it, your expectations adjust so that you aren't any more happy, but are more unhappy if you reduce your lifestyle, so you're stuck wasting your money without being any happier. The only things that are exceptions are freedom from financial encumbrance and experiences. Don't waste your life working on other people's bullshit just so that you can run on that hedonistic treadmill like an imbecile. Luckily my dad ran on that treadmill so I got to experience it and his realization of how stupid it was, up to when he sold everything to retire and go skiing every day much later than he could have.

TC 180k. Renting an apartment 1 bedroom central location. I go on a lot of dates. Have a normal sedan car which I bought it for 8k. I eat out a lot..probably spending about $500 a month. I'm quite spiritual so I try to find time to focus and meditate. I dress well usually buy my clothing from brand stores cuz it's important. I think the image matters as I noticed that people judge you based on your appearance a lot. Although my inner thoughts and my beliefs are is there a difference on this but unfortunately the society doesn't think that way. For the most part the only care about what Stacy on the surface so I realized I should actually pay more attention to clothing. I worked out say 2 to 4 times a week. I try to learn new things but my paste hasn't been that fast as I want it to be.. I try to donate a tiny bit of my income mainly because it gives me peace of mind and a little bit of self-awareness I guess. I was saving for about three years in a row so for about 2.5 years I didn't go on any vacation not even anywhere outside of town but then last year I realize that I'm burning myself and I need to do it so I travel to 4 new countries last year and it was really a great experience also met a lot of girls there. I generally try to keep myself offline once I'm off from work.
