My wife is looking for ASIC Design Verification position. She has a Masters and professional experience of 2.5 years. She took a maternity break for 5 years and is now looking to join back into the workforce. She is taking some classes in UVM, System Verilog at an Open University. She is applying online to companies. Can anyone offer some guidance on how to go about this process, what else we can do to better her chance of getting interviews, etc. ? Also, if anybody is willing to help us with referral for her skill set, please let me know.
Apply to Intel. They love hiring diversity candidates.
Yes. She has applied for positions that are matching her profile. But no calls so far. Are you aware of any returnship kind of programs in Intel? Most returnships I see online are for software engineering positions.
Problem with Intel is that we have hiring freeze in place (at least for some groups). That's the most plausible reason why she didn't get calls. Maybe reqs are there because someone forgot to take them down?
DM me for Qualcomm referral.
Thanks for the help. Will DM you.
DM for intel referrals
DM for AMD referral I'm low rank but I guess any bit helps right?
