Day 2 of startup and still finding it tough to understand all the devops stuff like getting things to work. Always constantly asking but feel like a nuisance. Are there any tips on how to get up to speed and be proficient in devops ? thanks tc 60k my first software engineering job
I mean worse case scenario I might get fired after probation lol
Ask all the questions. ALL OF THEM. Hereβs the key - write it down. When you ask the SAME questions, thatβs being a nuisance. Build your own wiki of information. It takes time to become a contributor early in your career.
It's your job to be a nuisance at your first gig. That's what I was told basically. They need to nurture you and after 6 months or a year, then you will be useful
Replace nuisance with proactive and transparent
I doubt I have 1 month let alone 6 months lol. Everyday is a stressful day
