Someone in the Google Blind posted a rumor that Meta decreased the refresher and bonus performance multipliers From: EE: 1.25x GE: 2.0x RE: 3.0x To: EE: 1.25x GE: 1.65x RE: 2.5x Can anyone working at Meta confirm? #meta #facebook #tech #faang
Can someone please also comment on how often people actually get these really good ratings at Meta? As in you need to be a total rock star and is it rare ?Also, what do you get if you meet all or meet most or something along those lines?
I think average rating is around low EE/high MA. Very few RE, much like a bell curve.
This is correct. Moving forward, we expect a large percentage of people to be getting EE.
Why do you mean? The rating distribution will change?
So MA is the new MM?
What do the ratings stand for?
EE: Exceeds expectations GE: Greatly exceeds (expectations) RE: Redefines expectations
Thank you!
So let’s say target bonus is 15% of your salary. That 15% is then further amplified by the multipliers? And there’s no way for it ever to be less than 1.25 * target bonus anymore?
1. yes it's 0.15 * multiplier of your PSC rating. 2. there's still MM (meet most) etc ratings. for example if you get MM you will still get 0.15 * 0.85
Thank you!
Yes this is accurate, along with performance evaluation and bonus payout moving to once per year
For bonus multiplier at least, not sure about refreshers
Does this mean fewer MM ratings and fewer PIP’s
Yes
So do you expect WLB to improve with this?
When will the PSC be then?
And if the multipliers changed, did the targets change as well?
We dont know about that, unless someone else chimes in here
For E4 it changes to 15% from 10%
