Did the stupidest thing ever.

Can’t believe we bought a $1M Bay Area home and didn’t realize that the backyard borders a pre-school ! Found out after moving in and now hear children screaming several times during the day which affects wfh. Overlooked some other things as well (don’t wanna list all of these out) and of course, have definitely overpaid for the house given the current market. The house has a very unique style though and was the only house we won after 6 months of looking and losing.

Have been cursing myself since moving in and have started to hate this home, have had several fights with my partner (who btw also overlooked this important detail) and I just feel bad and regretful every time I think about this. Made the biggest purchase of life in a rushed way and just feel so so depressed.

Don’t know why I am sharing with this group. But seriously what should I do ? Have any of you made any stupid mistakes like me while buying a home or am I the only one ?

[Edited : Just a free advice - please don’t rush into buying a home - look at every minor detail and never buy a cheaper home coz something is definitely wrong with it - you just won’t know what it is]
