It was unsatisfying. The characters were one dimensional and there was no closure.
^^ I felt so much like "the quiet place" except for the strong script. Didn't understand the point of the safe 🏠 for half the movie then didn't understand why would anyone invite folks into a school that has limited occupancy ratio. If at all after reaching the threshold, any such safe house would try to lay low but not broadcast without knowing who would show up. Especially given there were a few that turned.
As a hardcore walking dead fan, and someone who loved “a quiet place”, i felt that bird box was a poor rip off of both. Bad direction, bad editing, bad acting (except for sandra bullock). Story was okay but overall a very average movie.

Definitely watchable, IMDB rating of 6.8 makes sense given that A Quiet place is rated 7.6
Sandra Bullock is just not that great of an actress. Also the script was like Daytime Soap Opera quality at best.
