I see Rivian has many different spots, sometimes there's the same job posts at different locations. What does each office specialize in for the following locations (or other California places): - San Jose - Irvine - Carson Any pro/con?
Why do you say that?
Here’s what each location does: San Jose: Autonomous Driving Irvine CA and Plymouth MI: Electric Powertrain Carson: ?
Carson might be design. LA is all auto design.
It’s powertrain. They hired all ex faraday that didn’t want to move from LA
Recruiters aren’t responding at Rivian! It’s been 2 months they spoke to me and nothing has been updated!
Oh the pain of startups. Probably having trouble with their recruiting team and you got a dud.
Who was your recruiter?
🍿🍿🍿
OP: Rivian is hiring like nuts right now. They have money but now they need the people to implement it. They are picky with their hires and recruiters are known to ghost on candidates very often.
San Jose is moving to a Palo Alto location. Will no longer be a location. All locations do a number of things... irvine is focused on batteries though.
Where in Palo Alto? Any idea
Yes- not open yet.
None of those offices r gonna pay like Tesla.
Yeah, crap TC?
Can't be that bad, Tesla is known to be low on TC as well. Any info on the sites though?
