Does Disney comp well for senior tech roles? It looks like they could use a lot of help with Disney+.
Free Disneyland everyday!
Not everyday. So many blockout dates now that some cast are threatening to sue for additional compensation due to “reduced benefits.”
All parks and parking fee will be free everyday for Cast members
Not true. Silverpass blockout dates are at an all-time high. Some dates are even blocked for “self admission” with your badge at the front entrance (i.e. you have to go through backstage, which means you need specific security access).
Nope, disney pay is not competitive at all. They rely on your childhood nostalgia to bring you on board
Senior comp can reach up to 300-350k from what I know.
Depends on the business unit, but generally most do not comp well. They usually target median market rate for new hires. Mantra of most recruiters to hiring managers: “We’re not a tech company.”
Lol not sure we need help like that. First day demand was more than 20x what we thought. Thank you though!
Wow someone’s a little upset.
Do not forget that Disney does lots of outsourcing when it comes to tech
