About to leave Oracle and wanted to continue perm process after I leave. My manager is fine with it but BAL is saying they can only file perm for active oracle employees.
Is there any way around it? Since GC is for future employment they should be able to file it.

Yes, they can definitely do that. Also, you can ask to keep depositing salary, matching your 401k contribution, employee of the month awards, childcare, diapers, phone bill, food, gas bill, donating money to Ukraine, one way ticket to Mars, alimony if applicable. But I doubt they will give raise of more than 15%.

    You are welcome!

They haven’t filed my perm yet. Just got done with prevailing wage. I can’t stay one more year for perm + 140 to complete .

My manager is fine if BAL files perm after I am gone but BAL is saying they can only file for active employees

In theory what you are saying is right. Perm is for future employment but in practice it does not make sense for employer to do thud.
