Just out of curiosity. As an Microsoft /LinkedIn employee, do you avoid using LinkedIn for seeking new jobs? What if recruiters reach out to you on LinkedIn? I would imagine your managers be fully aware if you were doing so.

We don't monitor/read employee's (or anybody's) LinkedIn usage. If an employee wants to leave, they are free to do so. It would be nice that if they did, they used LinkedIn. It would mean our product is working.
