If yes what are the most interesting projects done by such companies using this framework? If no, why not? Is .Net adoption limited to only medium sized organizations?
.NET is very common in large enterprises, just not large tech companies specifically
Jet.com is all F# / .Net I hear.
Maybe some desktop app like Google desktop search
Government loves .NET since they also seem to like Microsoft products. Outside of them I rarely hear it being used.
Once you leave Microsoft, you won’t hear .net.
Shh. Don’t tell Oracle because they have hundreds of open DotNet positions on oracle.taleo.net
Fuck, no !
.net 🤮
This is what happens when you stay at msft for so long.
Isn't stack overflow built using .net? Kinda funny.
Sadly SO is one of the few tech companies that actually laid people off in recent years. Their system is simple and stable, but not very sexy
Serious question: is Java considered sexy? Or are you saying it's not architected well?
Lol no
Looks like someone didn’t bother to check their own company’s job board.
^ If you’re referring to my company, it’s been more than an year since I left Intel.
