I received a total signing bonus for $35k at Microsoft. I received $20k of it when I first joined, and the other $15k at my 1 year anniversary. The clause in the contract says I need to stay for another year or else I need to return the $15k. I'm thinking about searching for other opportunities, and am wondering if Microsoft will actually enforce this?
Yes. Companies enforce it. Also you should have more integrity than that.
Does bezos have integrity?
Yes, almost always
They usually take it out of your last paycheck plus any vacation you had accumulated, and you get billed for the rest when you sign the termination paperwork.
Yeah, but just don’t pay them back anyways
