Do you ever get used to working with unprofessional clients or bosses? It's way better for most situations to just accept someone acting like a kid, tell them they're right or apologize or whatever, and let everything move on. That's what I do, but it really kicks my pride around and lingers. Tags for different perspectives
Long story short: no. Lifeâs too quick, keep your grudges against people and let your anger fester into something awful and then get your revenge
I see you work at Northrop Grumman for a reason lol

When you get old, you notice thatâs all you got,
Thereâs value in knowing where to stand your ground, and call people on their bullshit. Some examples: a) if youâre setting yourself up for a continual cycle of mistreatment or being taken advantage of, b) if your, your team/groupâs, or your companyâs reputation or âself respectâ are at stake (this is subjective), c) if your cost benefit analysis determine that it is not worth it (again subjective), d) if you are unable to handle the emotional strain or blow to your pride and it starts to fester inside. But there is a way to stand your ground, too, without shouting or throwing tantrums, sticking entirely to facts in a measured manner, and clearly articulating what line cross you will not accept. And youâd better be consistent and able to back it up with actions if you stand your ground! Not unlike parenting I suppose. But yes, for the most part, being the grown up and setting aside your pride is an excellent way to deal with most people, tantrums or not. And yes, none of it is easy, although practice makes you better.

It happens when u take shit at home..
At home there's very little consequence for calling things out unless you're the (literal) kid
Er what? Op, maybe your SO is super rational and reasonable, but most humans are pretty shitty unreasonable and grudge holding at least some part of the time in their personal relationship and a SO/spouse is someone you canât/shouldnât just leetcode away from without consequence.
