Apple is internally embracing lot of open source. FWIW it’s oss policy is way more lenient that amazon where getting permission to work on oss project is almost impossible because almost necessarily it will compete in some way with amazon
I've worked there, would work there again (although not in the same org, it's been a while and it still is a dumpster fire).
