Inform my own team I work with multiple time zones to tone down availability expectations.

Block unavailability slots in your calendar based on either TZ being forward or behind of you. This ensures WLB

We have our standups at 5PM EST for this reason (working with either US or India)

Sometimes people do not think about what this entails. So be clear with the teams you’re working that you all need to be mindful of other people’s timezones when dropping meetings or tasks.

If you have a meeting you need everyone to assist it’s best to do it twice. One for one timezone and the second for the others (like #1 Eu #2 Asia)

Block iCal availability accordingly. Download Miranda on the App Store, best and simplest app to calculate timezone differences.

I’m working with basically all worldwide timezones. After a while you and other teams get used to know the other teams’ timezones and reasonable response times.
