If anybody can suggest a better app, it would be great as well
Interactive brokers if you consider yourself a professional investor, otherwise robinhood if you’re more passive.
+1, they have all the functionality I could wish for
I use rh for fun money stocks, (~10-15k), fidelity for long term investments
Why do you split it like this? Fidelity offers the same features and better service
When I moved to the US 3 years ago I didn't know much about stocks. Robinhood had a simple, pretty UI and free trades, plus other colleagues using it and talking about it, which was enough to get me to put in a couple of Gs. This has grown (with investment growth and deposit) to over 10k in that time. Now that Fidelity also offers free trades, at this point it's just momentum that keeps me on Robinhood more than anything else.
Literally any other app. Rh is a joke and offers no value other than a slick ui. I am honestly blown away that so many people use it and trust rh.
How else can I get my infinite leverage?
If you’re buying Uber stock then any app is the best!!
Only criticism I have for the Robinhood team is stop bloating the app with option to buy non-Uber stock. Why would anyone waste their time buying anything else??
Best way to lose a lot of $$
IB if you do any API trading
I've used rh for play money, but with no drip it just pointless. Been a long time Schwab customer and now that they have zero commissions I see zero value in rh.
I have 200k in Robinhood. What are the risks?
The biggest risk I really see the lack of drip and other vehicles that the big brokers offer. Other than that it's just that rh can go away in the blink of an eye
Why would Robinhood go away? Instead they could be acquired.
E*TRADE obviously
Boo 👎
E-Trade app is actually not the worst. I like rh simplicity though.
