AT&T is transitioning lot of employees to Accenture, Tech Mahindra etc
IT contractors? Wow
Sorry, Did not get you about s386?
It depends on the part of the company you get in to. I’ve got 20 years in now and have hopped around to a ton of great jobs and growth opportunities.
I’m at 2.5 years and it’s depressing as shit here. Granted I’m at an office that’s downsizing, but it seems like there’s so many rent-seekers. I will say there are pockets where there is talent that get me thru my day.
Depends where in AT&T. I've heard mobility is very good but not for swe.

Are we ready to buy our forever home?
Yes, it's OK as a new grad, but there's no growth opportunity at all. I was there for a year and then left. Go to FNG, it's not that hard and worth the effort. I'm joining Google once I find a team. The pay is more than 2x.
You were a software engineer at AT&T?
Yeah
