DocuSign Offer

Got an offer for Senior SDE in Seattle. YOE 10. Base: 155 RSU: 140 Bonus: 5% Signing: 10 This seems low to me. What do you think?

Google groundchuc Aug 20, 2019

Okay

Zillow Group ylkf3 Aug 20, 2019

10 yoe should get high 200 in Seattle at least

DocuSign Vrea57 Sep 23, 2019

I don’t think tc should depend on yoe. You can have 20 yoe and be a terrible swe or have 3 yoe and be a phenomenal swe. Comp should be based on what you bring to the table and your learning curve to catch up with the rest of the team. Can’t expect the business to invest big $$ on you if you were just okay... and they were open to taking a chance on you. That is just plain dumb.

Microsoft oqoo Aug 20, 2019

wow so low, i want to give up the onsite based on this info

Intuit S8TN Aug 20, 2019

5% bonus seems low. Maybe DocuSign goes heavier on rsu? How r refreshers?

Microsoft oqoo Aug 20, 2019

rsu per year or per 4 year op?

Microsoft oqoo Aug 20, 2019

if its per year then makes sense to me, tc around 300k

Microsoft rand10 OP Aug 20, 2019

Over 4 years

Microsoft Mr.X Aug 20, 2019

It is low, rsu and base could be increased. Also their benefits are worse than msft

DocuSign mLUX83 Aug 20, 2019

Geez that rsu seems laughable imo...that is not even near what most people get as refreshers...

GE D℞. Mario Aug 20, 2019

@mLUX83: Does refreshers gets added every year in addition to previously allocated RSUs?

DocuSign hubgut Aug 25, 2019

No.
