Biden to hand out green cards to 4000 illegals per year
Hi Blind community, I got a P5 Lead SRE offer from Docusign and I would like some input from current employees on it. It seems a very low offer to me. Base: 220k Equity: 290k over 4 years Bonus: 15% Sign on bonus: 30k YOE: 17 TC: 345k
Heard very highly of that company. The offer doesn’t seem to justify it’s name.
Location ?
San Francisco
Meh don't take it
Base looks solid, Equity is super low!! P5 is equivalent to industry E5 and equity should be > 500 K.
I also think the equity is really low and they told me they can’t go higher.
Do you have competing offers?
There are three minor ratings in each level, like low p5, mid p5, high p5. Based on the interviews feedback. It's possible that you got a no hire in one round and get this low p5 offer
Mid should be 500k rsu. High should be 550-650k rsu
According to the recruiter I got a good feedback formal interviewers. He said that the role is for a different job code so the reason for the low compensation. I think I am passing it as the RSUs are too low.
I am at p4 and i got 400k rsu over 4 years. 3 months back.. rest looks ok
Geez or rather Eeeew!!! Why is DocuSign so cheap? I just got off the phone with a Docusign recruiter trying to recruit me for a Devops role on the TechOps team and offering 165K base and 300K in equity for a P4 role . Mind you, I am currently at P5 equivalent in my current role with 15 YOE. Needless to say, I turned down the opportunity to continue the interview process lest they waste my time like OP. Sorry OP the equity is crap and so is base for Bay area. I wouldnt accept this in Texas as a P5
Does look low indeed
