i got an offer from Docusign today as week as an offer from Azure Networking at the Redmond office. Docusign is for a P3 engineer role and Microsoft is lvl 60. can anybody comment in the wlb, comp, culture, and how interesting the projects tend to be? I like the vibe i got from both teams, Docusign is offering a higher base with no signing bonus and lower yearly bonus, while Microsoft offers a lower base and less equity, but with a higher yearly bonus and a signing bonus. There team at microsoft says they want to get me to level 61 after the first year. i live in South Seattle, so a shorter commute is attractive, but the connector minimizes the commute a bit since i can check e-mails or get work done during the ride *edit* 3 YOE Microsoft: level 60 base 123k equity 100k signing 30k bonus 20% (based on individual impact) Docusign: level p3 base 140k equity 175k signing 0 bonus 5% (Based in company profit)

If you live in Capitol Hill the commute to Redmond via Commuter is legit like 30 min. More ability to transition teams as well. Docusign is more or less one product. What is the breakdown of offers for both?
Just checked glassdoor. DocuSign review is 4.6 (excellent), while Microsoft review is 4.2 (good). Hands down, DocuSign is the winner.
Are you serious?
The glassdoor reviews are not written by me. Who knows?
MSFT. Comparatively DocuSign offers less in terms of product or engineering challenges. It used to be a fun work environment once, it is a drag to go to work nowadays.
Poll?
Docusign offer is better, get some signon bonus then go docusign. docusign p3 is like msft 62. docusign also provides 401k match 50% up to 6% of salary.
17k base difference is big
Would the higher bonus and sign on for Microsoft offset the higher base from Docusign? Docusign also doesn’t do sign on from what I’ve heard?
You can try to get signon from docusign, for bonus part, microsoft cant give u much, a few k usd at level 60 at most
DocuSign also gives stock refreshers although they don't put it on the offer as only high performers get it. DocuSign also has catered food on Mondays and Wednesdays and Bagels on Fridays plus snacks / sandwiches
My recruiter told me they gave out annual stock refresher, they didn’t mention it was performance based. The way you phrased it makes it sound like most employees don’t get them?
Yeah like some fixed percent (5%?) is based on how well the company did. The second refresher is based on individual performance and only given to a portion of employees

Msft. Their benefits add up! 50% 401k is effectively a flat $12k base increase, if you max out your 401k.
Are you projecting it as a pre-tax dollars? The match is little under $10,000 which is still excellent.
