Does Alphabet share references between different internal companies?
Say I have a bad internal reference from someone working at Google. Could that affect my opportunities applying at Loon or Waymo?

I don’t agree: the reference culture breeds nepotism and makes you lose out on good people who someone might have a personal disliking against.
