Does Amazon check rehire eligibility with former employers
Anyone knows if Amazon instructs accurate background (Amazon's 3rd part vendor) to check for rehire eligibility during background checks? It'll be great if someone who have received the background check report can confirm this. Cheers blind team
Companies will verify title and dates of employment. More detailed (e.g performance based) feedback opens them to potential liability.

For all of you who are asking, yes they do. They even verify reason for leaving and rehire eligibility. However this may differ based on your location.
Most companies won't divulge that information anyway. It's just too much legal liability for no gain. They'll confirm you worked there, the dates, and possibly salary.
Most likely not salary, there's legal issues around that too. Just dates and if you worked there.
