What are the review cycle like and is there stack ranking? YOE - 9 TC - 245K
It's rare, Apple hires people to stay long term. Which is also why it's so hard to get job here. Chinese people call Apple the Iron Rice bowl because once you here, you are set.
Interesting. I would say this was even true for tech support, I did that during college. If someone didn’t get along with their manager, they would just switch them to another team instead. So much would be tried before firing. Heck, even interviewing for retail and tech support took too many rounds LOL. I went thru maybe...5 interviews before I landed retail. I remember thinking to myself “do I really want this?”
Agree. Our applicant to hire rate is 0.1%. I went through 12 interviews for an engineering position.
Any advice for a new employee at apple? Sde ict5; any do’s and don’ts?

Prepare to be shocked by the lack of documentation and automation.
Rarely any layoffs or PIPs
