Should I marry a lazy girl?
I have a YouTube channel that is quite popular in my home country. I have a verification mark and all. People know me and if when I go to conferences in my home country people want to take pictures with me. I do not say this to brag, but just to give a perspective of the kind of fame I've achieved over years and years of publishing free technical content on YouTube. This is something that I intentionally leave out of my resume because I think it might actually work against me (hiring manager might think I'm not committed to the company or that I won't last), but when they find out during casual conversation they think it's pretty cool. So what do you people think? Should I add it or leave it? #hrissues
I would reach out to other youtubers who have experience in big tech and ask for their opinion. You can check Clement mihelescu
It is cool from hiring manager perspective.
But do you have onlyfans
haha I'm a guy. I wouldn't get a single subscriber in onlyfans.
Unless you think that adding it will qualify you for something that you are not qualified for without it, I would leave it off the resume. I think it carries a weird level of controversy, the hiring manager might think you'll air the team's/company's dirty laundry on Youtube. Even if there isn't any truth to it, it paints a bad image for the company, etc. They might just think its not worth the risk.
This post is full of bragging. You are influencer , you established a popular channel and you don't know answer of this 😂
Never on resume. But a great answer to question like your passions, interests in an interview. HM here.
It could do more harm than good, pls leave it out
