I used to read books when I was younger - mostly science fiction. Now all I read is Blind and other similar forums. It’s embarrassing to say I don’t read books, but I also feel like the information I gain here is quite useful and is educational in its own way. What do you all think? Does reading forums compare to reading a book and does it stimulate the same brain activity and reading skills?
What other forums?
Blind is to reading as gas station food is to eating.
You’ve clearly lost all your brain cells. GTFO & go read. Don’t come out of your room for the next 3 hours. - Dad

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Yes. All of life's wisdom is in the anonymous internet
I’d say this community appears to be intelligent and I learn a lot about managing finances, negotiating, even relationship stuff. Sometimes I end up researching topics more in-depth outside of Blind if I want to learn or validate some facts. Book authors, on the other hand, often provide a biased opinion all be it in a very detailed form.
