https://blog.doordash.com/standing-together-for-justice-dc98cf164b7b was reading this blog post and thought to myself. I am sure many drivers come from diverse backgrounds. Equal pay and fair policies would help more than words on a blog and small tax deductable donations to 503c’s.
Most of your tips on DoorDash do not go to drivers. Most goes directly to DoorDash. Why? DoorDash pays drivers a min base. If you tip the driver the the base rate, DoorDash takes it. Only what you give over the base rate actually goes to drivers. How to get around this? Tip the driver in cash.
This is completely false
I don’t know what is true and what is false, so I tip in cash to be safe. Can’t hurt right?
They lied to customers about what happens if you tip, IMO it's more like stealing from the customers than the drivers
The Village of the Hidden Doordash have excellent engineers. I am sure they have the skills to steal tips. I had some the Interview exams there and they had a Leetcode problem called Forest of Death. Very impressed with what they have. I passed of course, but I joined a different group.

They don't steal tips. Guaranteeing a hourly rate minimum is not the same as taking tips. This is the same model as restaurants so if it bothers you start with them.
They use the users wallet to reach the hourly minimum. Same as restaurants, yes.
